A State Governor who swore an oath to uphold the contents of the 1999 amended constitution and also secretly backs calls for secession by self-determination groups is unfit to occupy such a seat.
This assertion was made on Sunday by a Radio analyst, Dr. Praise Akinwande, during a program monitored in Ibadan, Nigeria.
''Any Governor who has sworn to an oath to uphold the contents of the 1999 amended constitution and is now backing the calls for secession is unfit for the office he occupies'', Dr. Akinwande stated.
